Waterworks Photos!

Hey guys,

If you don't follow me on Facebook (First: SHAME ON YOU), then you have missed some photos from my recent Art Show at the Waterworks Visual Arts Center Artist Expo 2011.

It was a great experience, where I met MANY great, talented people and even sold a few pieces.

I will show you what my booth looked like (Awesome, if you ask me):
(That's Angela peeking out over there)

It was held at the F&M Trolley Barn

Can you spot my booth?

Haggling in motion...

It was so much fun and I learned so much.

Now, on to bigger and better things!

Thanks to all that came out and supported!

Upcoming Events! Waterworks Expo

Salutations!

So if you have not heard yet, I have been accepted to participate in Salisbury's Waterworks Visual Arts Center Artist Expo 2011. It's a jurored art show featuring 50 local artists in the Salisbury area.

Let me just tell you how honored I am to have been chosen. In the entire event, there is only one other Photographer and I am the youngest participant.

Can we just say, "PRESSURE!"

Well, I have assembled some of my favorite pictures to be shown at the event as well as had a few of them 'blown up' to poster sizes!

I cannot wait for the show! It opens up this Thursday evening with a Preview dinner and then is open to the public on Friday and Saturday. Oh, and don't you worry, I won't be missing ANY classes! ;-)

If you would like to see which photos were chosen just click right over here!

Thanks again, and if you're in the area this week, come out and see me!

Pseudo STUDIO (Behind the Photos)

Hey Guys!

So I just ended another successful Photoshoot and thought that this time, I would actually show you what the "Studio" looks like.

Yes, that is my living room...

That's my view of the backdrop/models.

My pretty Umbrella Lights- LOVE THEM!

My lenses and backdrops. Haha. Gotta have my options!

My great friend, Zach!

Thanks again!

Catawba College "Fatal Matrimony"

Hello again!
So I've shared with you some of my new favorite pictures, but here are some of the more... creepier photos that I've taken for the Catawba production of "Fatal Matrimony" directred by Dr. Kurt Corriher.

This photo is super creepy. Look how overpowering Aaron looks!

This photo, to me, is awesome because of the differences of their faces.

Thanks again, and don't forget to tell me what you think!

Thanks,

Catawba College "Bright Lights, Big City"

Okay guys, here comes a doozy of some photos: An upcoming production of Catawba College Blue Masque's "Bright Lights, Big City"!
*Note- these photos are not really rated PG, take with a grain of salt, PLEASE!

I am VERY proud of these photos. Not just because they are good photos (which, in my opinion, they are) but because I put a lot of hard work into them.
The director gave me two words to work off of: Industrial and Dirty.
Well, on our campus, there isn't very many industrial or dirty areas. The school has tried very hard to make the campus beautiful... everywhere.

So we chose the Theatre loading dock and the Theatre bathroom (*Note: the Theatre bathroom is probably the prettiest bathroom that I have ever been in).

Well, then that presents a problem. So a lot of the work I had to put into the pictures was to 'dirty' them up. I must say, I am VERY pleased with my pictures.

I hope that you enjoy them too.

Thanks guys,
